Cunningham, a forward out of Newton North High School in Massachusetts, first caught our eye with his ability to knock down perimeter jumpers, but then popped with his ability to impact the game in a variety of other ways. He has incredible length which he utilizes to his advantage as a finisher around the rim, as a disruptive playmaker in passing lanes, and as a two-way rebounder. He’s a tough finisher in the paint, but shows the ability to step out to the perimeter and operate as a playmaker off the bounce. He’s really good in transition and impresses with his ability to operate as a grab and go rebounder. Defensively, he also shows good instincts off the ball and has the ability to protect the rim from the help side.

Cunningham, a freshman wing out of Newton North, has good positional size and impressive length. Already a solid athlete, he intrigues with his physical tools and ability to impact the game on both ends of the floor. He does a nice job of running the floor in transition, can defend up and down a position, and is a capable two-way rebounder.
