Boston Three Party – Impressive Underclassmen

While a bit undersized, he does a great job of making up for it with his hustle, quickness, and winning mentality. He has a quick first step with the ball in his hands, showed the ability to make shots from behind the arc, and also did a nice job of finding teammates in positions to score. He has incredible length which he utilizes to his advantage as a finisher around the rim, as a disruptive playmaker in passing lanes, and as a two-way rebounder. He's a tough finisher in the paint, but shows the ability to step out to the perimeter and operate as a playmaker off the bounce. He's really good in transition and impresses with his ability to operate as a grab and go rebounder. His best attribute seems to be his ability to rebound the basketball, however, he's also a fluid mover for his size and does a nice job of getting out and running the floor in transition. He reads the ball well off the rim, can rebound in traffic and in space, and does a nice job of converting on his putback opportunities. The 5'10' guard was able to quickly change directions and showed good burst out of dribble moves. When he slid off the ball, he was able to operate as a primary scorer and did a nice job of quickly getting into his shot off the catch. The 6'5" forward has good positional size and length, plays with an impressive motor, and is highly disruptive as the back line of defense in a press. He covers ground quickly, has the athleticism needed to be a plus rim protector, and is mobile enough to guard on the perimeter in short spurts. Offensively, he does a great job of rim running in transition, rolls hard to the rim out of ball screens, and is capable of holding is position on the low block. He has good size on the wing, plays with quickness in small spaces, and has a nose for the ball in passing lanes. He impressed with his ability to make plays in the press and to defend a variety of positions in the half-court.
