Baker and fellow Junior Tommy Clark Tommy Clark 6'2" | SG Kings | 2025 State OH did what they could for Kings, but it wasn’t enough to stay alive in the playoffs. Baker hit some timely shots from the outside off the catch from 3-point range in this game. Best at attacking a closeout and getting downhill, Baker is left hand dominant when getting to the rim. The floater is a shot Baker likes to go to when driving, giving him a lane to shoot from the in-between range. A prospect who should get a lot of small college interest with Team Wildcat HGSL this summer, Baker and Clark will be a duo to watch as seniors with Kings.

A standout from the Midwest Basketball Club Fall League in Cincy, Baker is an athletic off guard who can really score it. An impressive athlete, Baker’s burst and ability to get past the first defender is impressive. Currently averaging 11.7 PPG shooting 47% from the field, Baker had a breakout 23 point outing in a win over Milford to open up 2024. Expect more of the same from him in the next few weeks as Kings looks to find their form returning from a winter break trip down south.

Kings has a lot of returning talent and Baker is a guy I expect to become a household name across SW Ohio after this season. A very impressive athlete from the shooting guard position, Baker is athletic and shifty enough with the ball in his hands to get by the initial defender on dribble drives. His straight-line speed also allows him to get behind the defense in transition and get easy layups. For Baker, developing confidence finishing off two feet when there’s a rim protector could help him score another bucket or two a game this winter. After averaging 7 PPG as a Sophomore, I expect Baker to be in the double digits as a Junior.
