About Mykel

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am an aggressive player overall. I can get to the lane and draw fouls, also finish through contact. I have a good mid range shot and also when I ge to the line I got 100% for my free throws. I am the aggressor on the floor and can get very physical on boards, that’s my strong point. I have a good 3 pt shot and can get to a spot with a quick move. Defensively I can get lots of stops and createTOs

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have a very uplifting mentality and personality. I lift others up as much as I can and try to help others out. I am a leader on the court and off the court. It’s easy for me to meet new people as long and I can spark a conversation. I’m mostly laid back and chill most of the time unless I’m around people I know.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I have received non sport awards. Honor roll was one of them. I haven’t joined any clubs recently.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Child care, food distribution, leadership awards and things like certificates.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Sometimes I tend to lean on and off during school while trying to be more focused in class. I have a short attention span and it makes it harder for me to focus in school unless it’s something that is interesting me.

What type of college are you looking for?

I aim for D1 or a college that has a good athletic program but I’ve been trying to look for colleges that will help me with things outside of sports too. I haven’t figured out what I wanted to do after high school yet.
