-Denton started things off with a splash when he swatted an opponent’s shot from behind then splashed a 3 in transition at the other end. He picked up where he left off in the 3Q with B2B C+S wing 3s, then had a huge bucket late in OT when he raced it in transition to score at the rim to make it a 5 point game. His quick twitch drives to the basket were huge in forcing defenses to rotate throughout the game.

9p 3r 1s 1b vs PSB

-Came off the bench to give his team a totally different dynamic as a lightning-quick guard that hit shots to bring his team back. Really liked how Denton fit into his role as a guard that can space the floor as a shooter (two big 3s in the 2H) or play on the ball as a dynamic driving guard with a quick first step. Denton timed a defensive dig on the ball very well to swoop in for a steal and layup that pulled his team to within two baskets and later in the 2H raced back in transition to block a shot to save a layup. Interested to see if he can carve out a bigger role for a South River team shooting for its second Anne Arundel County title before a talented 2026 class moves onto college.

Another small guard who has put on all summer league is Crofton’s Miles Denton Miles Denton 5'10" | SG/PG Crofton High school | 2026 State MD . Miles has outstanding vision, and he made a handful of outstanding passes today. Miles plays hard and is similar to J’Ream, i’ve loved what he’s done on the glass despite being one of the smallest guys on the floor. Miles knocked down a handful of tough jumpers, and he finished with 21 points and 6 assists in a Crofton win.
