A dynamic playmaker with quick end-to-end foot speed, Burton stepped into a varsity role in Penn High School’s backcourt in June at the Charlie Hughes Showcase. Despite a smaller build, Burton is fearless when attacking the basket and is very capable of creating his own shot while also attracting attention and making plays for his teammates from a live dribble. The Kingsmen will once again be one of the top teams in the South Bend area and Burton will make a difference as a freshman. He is the younger brother of former Indiana Mr. Basketball Markus Burton who now plays at Notre Dame.
