His ability to finish at the rim with both hands demonstrates excellent coordination and touch. He’s intelligent and knows how to play off the ball. Vaccarello’s screens knock defenders off their feet, and he shows a good sense of spacing when he rolls to the rim. Vaccarello has great hands and makes tough catches in traffic. Defensively, Vaccarello is a force and he is an excellent shot blocker. While he has committed to playing football at Stanford after this season, don’t let that stop you from thinking he is an equally skilled basketball player.

Mickey Vaccarello Mickey Vaccarello 6'3" | PF Peters Township | 2025 State PA boasts a well-rounded skill set and all of the physical attributes to be a big-time player. Defensively, Vaccarello is a force. Offensively, he sets thunderous screens and rolls to the rim well after and can finish with either hand. Vaccarello has super soft hands, and somehow manages to catch off target passes and convert them into buckets. His high basketball IQ is evident in his off-ball movement. For a player of his size and position, Vaccarello displays impressive ball-handling skills. Despite accepting a football scholarship to Stanford, Vaccarello’s commitment to basketball remains strong and I expect him to have a big year for Peters Township.
