Andersen is an undersized forward that plays hard. He’s able to shoot it, which allows him to faceup and drag larger players away from the basket. He’s also one of the better rebounders, his competitive spirit and toughness are big keys to the success of Silverado.

Andersen is coming off a high school season helping Silverado to the State Championship game. Quiet as kept, he’s been real productive this Spring, getting buckets during fall league and tournament action. Time for a hardcore eval of him as he could be a potential stockriser. During the season, he has to do a lot of the dirty work for the Skyhawks, looking to see how much he’s stretched out his game.

More of a positionless player, but Andersen mans the post for the 4A state runner ups. He rebounds well and can score with his back to the basket. Andersen is also one of the better mid range shooters in the state, displaying a knack for hitting 18 footers.

Andersen is one of the best undersized scorers in the state. He has a terrific face up game, drawing opponents out to about 15 before nailing the jumper. Andersen is a tough cover, especially when matchuped up against guards, as he’s able to use his skill and strength to finish buckets around the rim.

Andersen is productive player, who is effective with what he does best. He can score down low off putbacks or direct post, and showed nice looking stroke, when knocking down mid range jump shots.

I have to give my guy Andersen some love. He is undersized for what he does, however he’s really good at it. He’s shown the ability to score on the interior, with his back to the basket as well as catch and finishing. He should transition to more of a hybrid foward this season, as he has a nice touch from about 18 feet.
