Merrel showed out for All Love in the 15U scene. From the get go against the Netburners 15U team he was making his impact known on the defensive end. He was great at reading passing lanes as well as disrupting the game with his on-ball defense. He finished the game with 6 steals. That wasn’t the only place he was making an impact as he also had 5 3’s. Merrel has a great feel for the game and seemed like he always found the open spots off the ball. A rangy playmaker who can do a little bit of everything.
