About Mekhi

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a midrange and Deep range shooter i’m able to break down my defenders and get to the bucket while also being able to finish in contact. I’m known for one move and elevating off the ground for my shoots making it harder on the defense.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m a control threat if we’re in a position where my team is down i’m that person to be a leader and step up and pick them up that may by be getting a bucket and gaining confidence or just having a talk with them to get there heads back in the game. I do feel that I come into games confident because of how much I work on and off the court.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’m currently playing for Southern Maryland Magic an Upcoming program with a lot of young talented players, I’m also a Cadet in Njrotc At Calvert High School so I’ve received award from that class.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve developed leadership and giving back to my community from having parents that push for success through academics sports and in my community in general meaning giving and encouraging others that may be interested in putting in work to be successful. I believe on the court I bring leadership making sure everyone knows there roles and encouraging them to do there best.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Breaking my collarbone and Foot Making me miss half of my freshman year however it made me hungry to get back in the court and dominate opponents.

What type of college are you looking for?

A college that fits my play style and a college that has a good academic and sports program ensuring that I will be in good hands. And overall a college that wants me to be there.
