About Matthew

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My name is Matthew Oyewole, and basketball is my passion. I'm very athletic and can jump really high, which makes me incredibly explosive during games. I handle the ball with precision, even against tough competition, and I play at a fast pace, constantly moving and staying active. Whether I'm on offense or defense, I excel at playing off the ball, always finding the way.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

When it comes to my mentality on the court, I'm always looking to win, no matter what. I see the game differently than others, constantly analyzing and making smart, effective decisions both on and off the court. I respect my peers and any coach who's willing to help me improve at any level. My focus is always on playing smart and staying ahead, ensuring that every move I make helps the team.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I've developed a range of skills and qualities over the years, including leadership, teamwork, and community service. As a leader, I always strive to set a positive example for my teammates, motivating and guiding them towards our common goals. Teamwork is crucial in basketball, and I excel at collaborating with my peers, ensuring we play cohesively and effectively.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I've faced some significant challenges. Recently, on some teams, I wasn't getting the ball much. I worked really hard to earn my teammates' trust by improving my skills and proving I could make smart plays. Now, I've overcome that, and my teammates trust me with the ball, I can help our team very well now.

What type of college are you looking for?

I strive for the division 1 level, But at the end of the day anything would be beyond asked for.
