From what we saw at UO Team Camp, one of the biggest sleepers in the 2027 class is undoubtedly Schartz. At 6-foot-5, his ability to score both inside and out, and a toughness and fearless, no-nonsense attitude, there’s no question the rising senior should be getting more recruiting attention than he’s currently getting. In a matchup against McDaniel, he showcased himself by hitting open perimeter jumpers, completing tough drives to the hoop through contact, and added a couple of jaw-dropping dunks in traffic over defenders. 32 points and 7 rebounds in a close loss.

Athletic wing with great length, Schartz is best in transition & finishing around the basket. Uses his length to be disruptive on the defensive end of the floor.

Creswell has a nice mix of seniors & juniors this year. The play of the talented Schartz could be the X factor to keep the Bulldogs in the winners bracket. Schartz uses his length & athletic ability to impact the game on both ends of the floor. He’s especially dangerous in transition & helps push the high scoring Creswell offense.

Ruggedly-built 6-foot-5 wing that took no prisoners on the court. Was ruthlessly in attack mode and really sought to get to the hoop, and on one transition break flew in for a power two-handed slam that drew oohs and ahhs from observers. While the Creswell junior mainly went to the drive, he had good form on his perimeter shot out to three-point range.
