About Mason

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I'm a fast skilled point guard who likes to make defenders react to me with my handle. I score mainly using crafty finishing moves and midrange jumpers. I also create plays for my teammates. My defense is very strong, I prove myself by defending people bigger than me and showing effort for every loose ball or potential turnover on their part.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a very hard worker and take the game of basketball very seriously, I work every day, I keep a positive mindset, and I always try to improve in some sort of way.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I take pride in my schoolwork as well, as I have been maintaining high honor throughout the school year.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I've developed strong leadership skills and communication skills by playing basketball. I can bring my teammates up, encourage them, and use my playmaking skills to make the best play possible.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

A challenge I've faced is balancing schoolwork with basketball, with having a high honor roll takes effort and time along with my basketball training daily. I've learned time-management skills so I can manage both as a student-athlete.

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm currently focused on developing my skills and improving as a player. I’m open to all college opportunities in the future and want to grow into a high-level student-athlete.
