As a child dealing with ADHA / Comprehensive language disorder Mason is a very Quite shy kid he has found his place with basketball . willing to give the shirt off his back to help out a friend

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

As a child with ADHD and a comprehensive language disorder, he has often struggled to find his place. Joining MN Chill has helped him gain confidence, leadership, and a deeper knowledge of the game. He now plays defense/ has really brought his game to another level —something that just two years ago he had no idea how to do. If it were not for Marcus and the MN Chill program, he would not be where

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

While playing on his school team, Fridley Hoops, he became the strongest player on the team. Over the course of three games he scored 97 points. Although the team lost the state championship by just two points—which was heartbreaking for him—he kept his head up and continued to push forward. He received countless words of recognition from referees and other coaches, acknowledging his talent
