Marshall is a huge reason why Belton-Honea Path turned into a surefire contender the past two seasons. After finishing below .500 in his freshman and sophomore years, Bolden Jr. helped lead the Bears to back-to-back 15+ win seasons and two Region Championships. Marshall was the Region 1-3A Player of the Year this year, thanks to putting up 16 points per game, 3 assists per game, and 2 steals per game, no doubt earning him a look for the Class All-State Team.
Marshall is one of the best Guards in Class 3A this season and looks likely to lead Belton-Honea Path on another deep run based on the talent on their roster. Bolden has a strong frame, which helps him against bigger guards on both ends of the floor, but he’s also polished enough as a playmaker to score and get teammates open shots.
