I was impressed by Marcello this June when I watched him for the first time with Cane Bay High School. He submitted his highlights from his Grassroots Season with Carolina Hoopz and I again liked what I saw. Fludd showed some shiftiness in beating his defender off the dribble, lots of skill getting to his spots and connecting from the mid-range, and strength in finishing through contact at the rim. Marcello is also a very good on-ball defender with good hands and a knack for picking the pocket of his matchup.
