He is a solid ball handler in tough situations he can find teammates and limit turnovers. He is able to drive the lane and score over defenders with some finesse finishing and shows a shooting touch if left unguarded.

Maliq Sosa, A 6-5 junior guard who transferred from Seffner Christian to West Oaks Academy over the summer is one of the top polishing prospects in the state. He is relentless when it comes to finishing around the rim while absorbing contact. Sosa also adds a nice mid-range jumper to his game where he can score off the bounce as well as off the catch at a high level. On the defensive end, Sosa plays with a ton of aggressiveness and versatility where he can jump the passing lanes as well as block shots without fouling. He adds great length as well and has improved his game every time he takes the floor.
