He has the skillset to either hurt the defense attacking the rim or pulling up for jumpers from range as he has the height to shoot over defenders. He is vocal on the defensive side of the ball and blocks shots at the basket due to athleticism and wingspan. Parrish runs the floor effectively in transition and can draw contact from all three levels to get to the free throw line. Malik recently picked up offers from Sam Houston State, Maryland, and Auburn.

Defensively, Malik excels in making rotations from the weak side, resulting in stops on that end of the floor. His standout performance of 33 points throughout the weekend was a testament to his engagement and aggressiveness. Currently, Malik has received offers from TCU, SMU, and UTEP, indicating their interest in adding him to their roster before his senior year.

Malik was a great post player and all-around presence for his squad in the full court scrimmage games. He functioned at multiple positions on offense, doing everything from handling the ball up the floor, grabbing rebounds, and finishing in transition. He showed ability to dominate matchups one on one, get himself to the foul line, and play great paint defense at the rim. Attending New Wave Academy will be a big opportunity for Parrish when it comes to exposure and I am sure he will continue the momentum throughout the school year.
