Standing at 6’8”, he effectively attacked the rim, finishing through contact and made plays in the paint. Defensively, Malik excels in making rotations from the weak side, resulting in stops on that end of the floor. His standout performance of 33 points throughout the weekend was a testament to his engagement and aggressiveness. Currently, Malik has received offers from TCU, SMU, and UTEP, indicating their interest in adding him to their roster before his senior year.

He displays great court awareness that allow for quick defensive rotations, making him a weak-side shot-blocking threat. Parrish has a knack for reading the play early and meeting finishers at the rim fearlessly.

Malik was a great post player and all-around presence for his squad in the full court scrimmage games. He functioned at multiple positions on offense, doing everything from handling the ball up the floor, grabbing rebounds, and finishing in transition. He showed ability to dominate matchups one on one, get himself to the foul line, and play great paint defense at the rim. Attending New Wave Academy will be a big opportunity for Parrish when it comes to exposure and I am sure he will continue the momentum throughout the school year.
