Malik is a young point guard with some upside. Malik plays with a balanced play style and will score when needed. He was the number one option as a freshman and scored from everywhere. He has a nice handle and will use his speed to blow by defenders putting pressure on the rim. He has a solid shot and cant be left open. The young guard has a high IQ and can set up other scorers. He will now compete in the 6A conference and look to make a big impact for the tigers.

Malik entered the event with plenty of buzz surrounding his name and backed it up immediately. Frazier showed why many view him as one of the more intriguing young guards in attendance. He consistently created separation off the bounce with explosive bursts, attacked defenders downhill, and finished through contact with confidence. What stood out most was the complete scoring package. He was comfortable operating from all three levels and never looked sped up offensively.

He plays with great composure and pace; he stood out as one of the better transition scorers I’ve seen in this class all summer. He brings strong energy and is always in attack mode, constantly putting pressure on the defense. If he carries over even a portion of what he showed this summer, he’s set up for an impressive freshman campaign.
