Expert Analysis
Matt LaSalle | Prep Hoops Scout
A super athletic prospect, Russ, has the ability to effect the game in a number of ways, both offensively and defensively. He excels in the transition game where he can show of his speed and leaping ability. He is quick and explosive off the floor, making him a huge asset on the boards for the lightning. The 6’5″ SF is an excellent shot blocker, but also has the ability to stick with the small, quicker guards. Russ has a decent mid-range game, but thrives when attacking the basket, where he can finish through contact.
