About Maddox

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

As a smaller guard, I work on doing the little things right. Penetrating and kicking out to open shooters, changing the pace of the game and always having a high energy level on both ends. I strive to be a leader on and off the court. I am a good rhythm shooter, very consistent pull up jumper, great ball handler, solid defender, always looking to take charges and I have a high IQ on both sides.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Always giving a 100 percent on and off the court, in the weight room or wherever. I’m a positive and level headed teammate striving to keep my teammates on track and never negatively affecting them. I listen to my coaches if they are critiquing my performance, trying to help me improve my game and make the right decisions.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

AAU - Louisiana Clippers High School - Doyle High School During high school years, I received many academic awards and was in several honors classes.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

The skills I’ve developed are the role of being a good leader on and off the court, always working to build a solid chemistry with my teammates and learning their game so I can build mine around theirs. I tend to always be helpful and supportive to my piers and coaches.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

None that I’m aware of at this moment.

What type of college are you looking for?

Im looking for any college that sees value in what I have to offer.

Maddox McCorkle Maddox McCorkle Maddox McCorkle 5'6" | PG Doyle | 2026 State LA was one of the most skilled players at the showcase. Maddox took the time to showcase every skill that he has in his arsenal. Maddox can play the point guard position in any gym. He is a high IQ guard with an eye for basketball. Very few players can think the game and see plays before they happen. His precision passes kept his team mates in position to thrive. He is also a shooter. If he can see the goal, he can make the shot. Maddox is also a wizard with the ball in his hands. His use of deception and hesitations kept defensive players confused and he is an elite mid range shooter, along with using the floater like a pro. Maddox is fearless, constantly challenging bigger players to try and stop him. Bet on this kid. He is a gamer.
