Expert Analysis
Tom Keller | Prep Hoops Scout
Bennett impressed with his ability to knock down shots on the perimeter converting several chances from deep. He used his length to alter shots. Bennett also scored the basketball inside. He made a few trips to the foul line and converted from there more times then not. Hoping he can get quicker and keep working on his frame. He is a prospect who should see traction from high twos and low ones.

Maddox Bennett has been on Prep Network’s radar for a while because he combines uncommon size with a perimeter‑oriented skill set that is already producing at a high level. During the spring AAU weekends, he has been working on his mid-post game and making plays from that positioning on the court At 6’7″ he has the strength to absorb contact. College coaches also love his decision‑making in ball‑screens. He can sling cross‑court skips or hit short‑roll bigs in stride. After averaging 20 points per game as a junior and earning Pennsylvania Class 5A All‑State third‑team honors, Bennett opened the Hoop Group circuit with multiple clutch‑shot performances, helping Team Wildcat HGSL to marquee wins and drawing inquiries from Akron, Boston U, Merrimack, Lafayette, Holy Cross, and Navy. He currently holds 5 D2 offers. As he continues to grow into his frame and tighten his handle, Prep Network scouts see a prospect whose blend of length, shot‑making, and competitive edge.
