About Luke

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Athletic PF with good length at 6’9”. I can shoot the three and handle the ball but also have good footwork in the post.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I try to be consistent and maintain an even temperament. I tend not to get too high or too low and stay focused on what’s in front of me and the next step.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

National Honor Society

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have learned to become a better leader over the past two years. I have always been a person who leads by example but I have realized that sometimes my voice has to be heard as well and have improved in that area. Our coach does a great job getting us involved with community events and I enjoy giving my time in those situations.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I tore my ACL the third game of my Sophmore year last season. While the rehab process has gone well and I am almost completely back at this point it has been a challenge. I have worked hard to overcome this setback and it has given me a great perspective and even more love for the game I have missed.

What type of college are you looking for?

I want to find a good environment that allows me to grow as a player and a person for four years. I want to develop those lifelong relationships that being on a team can provide. I also am fortunate to be a good student so I want to find the right academic fit to provide me a good foundation for my future career after basketball
