Versatile skill set as a stretch forward who can space the floor and fill perimeter spots. His biggest impact came on the glass, where he played with physicality, pursued rebounds in traffic, and consistently looked to make plays for second chances. Showed a quick burst to the offensive glass and a good understanding of how to keep the ball high for quick finishes. Defensively, his longer frame and quicker feet allowed him to stay in front of drivers and disrupt their path. Also showed some ability to attack closeouts with a shot fake and drive.

O’Reilly stood out as one of the most competitive players on the floor, and that mentality elevated everything else he did. On defense, he showcased the strength to rip the ball out of opponents’ hands. On offense, he displayed impressive range, knocking down threes in the second half and passing the ball with anticipation. O’Reilly went one step further by taking on a leadership role on the court, calling plays and naturally organizing his teammates. There is a real toughness and urgency to the way he competes that coaches will love.

A lanky long prospect from St. Ignatius, O’Reilly utilizes those tangibles to his advantage to make an impact around the paint. He sticks around the glass for boarding purposes and disrupts drivers shot shapes at the rim. His timing was correct for a few offensive rebounds and put backs throughout the day. Offensively for positional size he moves well in ball screening action and then diving to the basket. O’Reilly also showed flashes of versatility with a euro step finish between a couple defenders and a spot up 3 in rhythm.

Brought consistent effort on the defensive glass and stepped up with timely shot contests. Offensively, showed vision by finding cutters and added value with hustle plays in the open court.
