About Luke

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would describe myself as a play maker and a quick decision maker off the catch. I'm also seen as a leader on my teams even if I'm not the one with the ball in my hands I move players around create open shots for myself and others and communicate in real time. I like to play off the catch and get into my midrange and threes off the bounce. Also using my size to advantage for easy shots.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Every time I step on the court I want to win. I will always express this to my team but never blame. I feel putting people down and yelling only makes others mentality go down. I will definitely speak to them so we can improve in the future.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I was in photography club at my high school a little bit in the first half of the year. And I also am very interesting in architecture I take that as a class and show up to get outside help and new knowledge from my teacher.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Within basketball there is always opportunity to work on leadership and teamwork. If I'm helping one of my coaches train younger kids and I have to take on the coach role myself. Or if it's a practice at my own age I'm looked to as a leader on my team to start the practice, get us warmed up and start the practice even without the coach present.

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm looking for a college were there is atmosphere the people in the school are excited about sports and the opportunity. Also a team were we don't try to win games with superstar, a team were we can play as a team to win. Not play as a team were everyone gets the same amount of shots or points but were we can trust each other enough to win games.
