About Luke

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

5'10 pass first guard looking to find the open teammate. As a small guard, I like to use my floater to get tough shots up over taller defenders. Can hit the three ball when needed.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality on the court is to win and get my teammates better. I take every game as if it were my last and I love seeing my teammates succeed whether it be setting them up for an open shot or finishing a pass of theirs.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved with many clubs including Student Council, National Honor Society, and Rotary Interact. I have received the Nevada All State Academic team twice in three semesters.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Skills that I have developed through basketball are leadership and being vocal on and off the court. I have put in over 30+ hours of community service my junior year alone through helping out the middle school boys basketball team, and different community events.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I broke my wrist my freshman season, which cost me 1/4 of my high school career. I didn't let this injury put me down as I continued to attend practices and support the team. When I was released, I got right back to working to get where I was before the injury.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that is dedicated to getting their athletes better and helping put us in positions to succeed in basketball, but also in life.
