The senior is a smart, skilled lead guard with an impressive command of the basketball and a strong feel for the game. He changes speeds well and can get into the paint, where he is a creative finisher with either hand around the rim. He sees the floor well and is a capable distributor who consistently creates opportunities for teammates. He is also a solid open shot maker from the perimeter, giving him the ability to impact the game as both a scorer and facilitator.

Beaver did what he does best all summer long, scoring the basketball. He is a guy who can score it on all three levels while being an effective passing lead guard as well. He just continues to polish his game and find ways to add scoring options to his bag. I saw a big jump in his ability to guard this summer as well. College coaches at the d2 and d3 level should be lined up to watch Beaver throughout his senior year.
