Maintaining an impressive 3.9 grade-point average, Glaus uses his smarts on the basketball floor to make positive plays for his team. The 6-foot-3 wing can score off the bounce and from outside the arc. Equally important, he is an unselfish player who makes the right pass at the right time, and is a solid rebounder and defender. A returning first-team all-Dunn-St. Croix Conference performer, Glaus was drilling three-point baskets on Sunday in Appleton while also playing with effort on the other end of the floor. He averaged 20.6 points and 7.1 rebounds as a junior for the coop program at Elmwood/Plum City.

Glaus was another player to show an ability to knock down shots from beyond the arc. He has a solid build and took the rock hard to the hoop, demonstrating his ability to finish through contact. Glaus also did a nice job running the floor in this game.

As the top-ranked student in the class of 2025 at Elmwood High School with a GPA of 3.98, Glaus has demonstrated excellence in academics alongside his accomplishments on the hardwood. A standout moment in his academic journey was receiving the prestigious Spade Award at the honors banquet, a tradition dating back to 1951. The boy and girl with the top GPA in the junior class are presented with the spade and spoon from the senior who earned the award the prior year. Each student ties a new ribbon on their award with their name and graduation year before handing it down to the next honoree.
Glaus also actively engages in hands-on learning, particularly enjoying chemistry lab work. He said enjoyed working as a teacher’s assistant for the Phys Ed department, where he was able to help with kindergarten and first-grade students last year.
His post-high school plans include studying to become a pediatric occupational therapist.
As a junior, Glaus averaged 20.6 points and 7.1 rebounds per game. He said his favorite part of the 2023-2024 season was beating Assumption in the first round of regionals as the underdog.

Glaus showed so much promise this evening vs MN Heat. Moves his feet real well defensively to prevent blow-by’s. Offensively, he showed three-level scoring abilities while hitting several difficult shots. Buried a pair of 3-pointers early in the game but showed excellent slashing abilities towards the rim as the game progressed. Also hit free throws at a high clip. Key and-one in the closing minute to keep them in the game.
