How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Can shoot the 3 ball, also can pound the ball in the paint with great footwork and finish through contact, if my shot isn’t there I will find open teammates.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Always wants to win, also will push till the buzzer sounds. Lastly I will do anything and everything for this game.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Learning how to communicate through drills, and even stepping up to help someone who doesn’t understand. Lastly also just asking for help.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Mainly just injury challenges, going through therapy to regain the strength in my ankle.

What type of college are you looking for?

Good basketball program, and great atmosphere.

His height is up to 6’6″. Logan is a strong low-post scorer and interior defender. This spring, Shimek has outplayed multiple taller opponents by using crafty moves around the rim. He has the ability to step out and hit perimeter J’s as well. Logan is also productive in the pick-n-pop game.

Logan was dominant inside on Sunday, being the best back-to-the-basket player I saw all weekend. He has so many different moves he can go to to free himself for a finish at the rim, being an unstoppable force down the stretch. He was also doing work on the boards, coming with several contested rebounds. Shimek finished a comeback win over Minnesota Select with a game-high 23 points on 9 of 11 shooting.
