He was smooth and efficient scoring in the paint off the dribble with a variety of shot angles. He’s long and athletic and plays under control. Despite the up-tempo style of his team, Churchill makes smart, efficient decisions with the ball.

Moundridge brought back a lot of pieces from its 19-4 team a year ago. Their big man Churchill has had some nice moments, including a revenge win over Inman. In that one, Churchill went for 22 points, 10 boards and 7 blocks.

Churchill will be one of the best big men in 2A this year. He followed up a big junior season with a good summer. He has good coordination and fundamentals in the paint. He tossed in 19 points per game last year and will be a senior to watch because of his size and skill. He can back down a defender or turn and face the basket and pull up for mid-range jumpers.

Churchill backed up a super junior season with solid work for PGUHOOPS this summer. He’s smooth and skilled for his size, able to back down defenders, work to openings in the paint and knock down mid-range jumpers. He runs the floor really well and can put the ball on the floor. He averaged 19 points per game last year en route to honorable mention in 2A. Moundridge should be tough this year.
