About Lloyd

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Good ball handler and finisher can catch and shoot and mainly a get my teammates open because once my team is on fire it allows me to do what i bring to the team.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Very focused, I used to doubt myself a lot but once I worked on the little things about the game and started actually taking what coaches say to me seriously the game got easier and made me more confident, consistent and again focused

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I received DPOY as a freshman and also the “Iron man” Trophy. I’ve also gotten a lot of rewards helping out around my community with the free time I have

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Being a guard that’s really confident in my scoring ability I never really looked to pass because I could get myself open but once I started watching footage I started to see that getting players the ball and communicating like a guard it gets everyone involved and make people actually wanna play.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I lost my father at a young age, he was murdered trying to protect a pregnant lady not hurt herself after being told repeatedly not to move. He also played basketball so when I play I play for him and also my friends I’ve lost along the way so it just keeps me going because I have to make it for them

What type of college are you looking for?

I wanna be somewhere that the coaches help me develop as a player and open my horizon more to different game styles. I also want to be somewhere that has a good education because I want to get into business etc

Vastly improved player that stood out as one of the better ball handlers that I saw Sunday. Lloyd was in his bag showing a variety of spin moves and crafty drives that ended in tough layups over bigger players. Very capable outside shooter that proved he can knock down the open 20 footer and made smart decisions finding open teammates around the hoop.
