Byrd is back after missing the high school season due to injury. He will be moving up our updated rankings after a very impressive June with his new program at Peachtree Ridge. The rising junior has high level size and athleticism. He can handle the ball effectively for his size and has turned himself into a three level scorer with plenty of potential.

A 6-6 wing with a long wingspan and strong physical tools. Byrd has good mechanics on his jumper, even if the consistency wasn’t there at camp, and he’s a confident shooter who doesn’t shy away from taking big shots. He’s a strong transition athlete with the speed and bounce to finish through contact and over defenders. Defensively, his length allows him to contest shots effectively and guard multiple positions.
