I have never had the opportunity to watch Johnson play before but he quickly stood out in the handful of games that I saw and he makes my list for incoming seniors having a great summer. Having watched him at the Prep Hoops: The Tune up, he stood out as one of the quicker, shiftier players that I’ve seen regardless of class. Johnson’s explosiveness allowed him to get to the rim, at will, and his finishing ability was head and shoulders above his competition. When the defense thought they had him figured out, Johnson made them pay with his outside shooting.
