Landon Barnes was the big man in the middle for Southern Assault 17U. Offensively, he provided a soft touch around the rim using his size to gain clear opportunities. He was a good rebounder throughout my evaluation of his game against Team Allegiance 17U, coming up with rebounds on both ends of the floor. Defensively, he did a good job of protecting the rim at times against opposing players. The 2026 prospect is still available to play on the next level!

Barnes gives North Crowley a physical interior presence with modern offensive tools. At 6’9”, he has the strength to carve out space on the glass while also showing touch around the rim. He’s comfortable spacing the floor, giving the Panthers the ability to run pick-and-roll and pick-and-pop actions effectively. While not the most explosive athlete, his fundamentals and mobility allow him to guard in space and protect the rim with positioning. Barnes’ combination of size, touch, and IQ makes him a dependable big who balances the lineup.
