About Landen

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

A quick, fast, and long defender. Landen can play the 1 or the 2. He is a playmaker and has an ability to get by his defender. He will not force anything and lets the game come to him. He can score at all 3 levels. He can guard the best player on the other team and have great success.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Landen is a calm player, never over emotional. He plays the game the right way.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Vice President of the Student Goverment Association.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Leadership skills are becoming stronger as a 4 year starter. I lead by example and would not ask anything of anyone I am not willing to do.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

The first year of high school basketball I was asked to be the go to guy. I am normally a distributor. This was a big leap of faith by my coaches. It started a new part of my basketball game.

What type of college are you looking for?

A good school with medical degrees that has a solid basketball program. I am willing to work and I enjoy being challeged.

Landen is effective on or off the ball, confident, and always hunting the right shot. When he gets downhill off a closeout, he’s tough to keep in front.
