Lance Carr displayed his exceptional vertical leap, effortlessly soaring above defenders for powerful dunks that electrified the court. His impressive lift and quick elevation made each finish look smooth and controlled. On the defensive end, Carr showcased his lateral quickness and tenacity as an on-ball defender. His ability to stay in front of his man, taking away angles and forcing continuous adjustments, marked him as a lockdown presence, making it challenging for ball handlers to find open lanes.

Lance delivered plenty of high-flying monster dunks during my time watching Kimball and Allen. His explosive athleticism and timing were on full display as he attacked the rim with authority, electrifying the crowd with each highlight-reel finish. 

I believe he could average 20 points this season because he has so much talent around him. Lance already has freak athleticism and he can shoot the ball from the 3. Team won’t be able to focus on him as hard as they would like. With David at the point guard Lance will be an unstoppable in transition. As the likely team captain, Lance leads by example by being a big talker on defense. He completed an internship this summer.

A standout high-flyer, he can swat shots on one end and dunk on opponents on the other. The term “different” is often used loosely, but it truly applies to Carr, whose leaping ability is rarely seen, especially in a high school player. He gets off the ground effortlessly, jumping so high it looks like he might hit his head on the rim. Carr sets the tone with thunderous dunks and plays with great energy from the start, sparking his teammates’ play. A freak of nature at 6’7”, he looks and plays more like he’s 6’9”, making him an imposing presence on the court.
