Lacon has been steadily making a name for himself over the last 18 months or so. Henderson is going to need him to step up this year and play both point and shooting guard for a Colonel team with a big hole thanks to G Thomas graduating. An aggressive driver, Lacon did Lacon things on Saturday and scored the ball at a high level over the course of the day.

Lacon makes his living as a driver who gets to the rim and finishes well, especially through contact. Tomorrow, it will be interesting to see how well he shoots the ball after only going 2/17 from three as a Sophomore.

McKinney had a good season for Henderson and has kept rolling into AAU season. After averaging double figures for Henderson last season, his role will only get better after G Thomas graduated. Lacon has shown he excels at getting to the rim and finishing but has a ways to go as a three point shooter. If he can become a more confident shooter from deep, watch out.

McKinney is a slasher who gets to the rim consistently. He was a solid third scorer for a talented Henderson County team and was one of the state leaders in field goal percentage this season. To reach his potential, Lacon has to become a more consistent three point shooter but he has a chance to be a really good player in the 2nd region.
