How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I play smart, team-first basketball. I focus on getting everyone involved to keep momentum flowing, and when it’s time to take over, I’m all in. I set the tone defensively by hustling, closing out hard, and making stops.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I try to keep a level head and stay positive. I don’t let emotions take over, and I focus on learning from every moment on the court. I love the game and trust God to guide me through the ups and downs.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I am involved with the Bounce Back Youth Leadership Foundation, where I serve as a mentor. I have also received academic honors awards consistently since elementary school.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
I’ve developed leadership, teamwork, and a strong work ethic. My dad taught me that nothing is given, you have to work for what you want. He showed me what real leadership looks like by leading through actions, showing up when others won’t, and treating everyone with respect on and off the court. I’ve learned that these qualities take time and consistency to build.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
Yes, I’ve faced challenges. I had my teeth knocked out during practice, but it didn’t stop my love for the game or my commitment to keep playing. This season, I’m currently the second-highest scorer on my varsity team, and one of my biggest challenges has been getting noticed by college recruiters. I use that as motivation to keep improving and working harder.
What type of college are you looking for?
I would love the opportunity to play at the Division I level, but I’m also open to the JUCO route. At the end of the day, I would be honored to compete and grow at any collegiate level.
