Howard steps in at his new school after a productive junior campaign and joins new head coach Josh Czerski’s roster looking to be a go-to option offensively. The 5-foot-11 guard brings many of the characteristics that will help him shine in the Baltimore City Public School league as a shifty, downhill scoring threat who can get a bucket in a variety of ways. He can shoot it from deep when he isn’t trying to break his defender down and get to the cup while also showing off some improved awareness as a passer in our viewings of him this fall.

-First time seeing Howard but came away impressed with how dynamic he is even while playing alongside two other point guards. Howard can shoot it with range, could get open in a phone booth, has the ball on the string, and showed great vision in the halfcourt. He excels in transition and has a great feel for weaving through defensive double teams and ball pressure to get to his spots to make plays for others. Love how quickly his brain operates in chaos to process a play and come out of it much quicker than the average prospect whether it be loose balls, long rebounds, or defenses converging on him as he drives to the hoop.
