Kyler also was very impressive. He has a smooth handle with either hand. Very poised and confident with the ball. Handles it in either tight quarters or open space. He can get two feet in the lane and create for himself or others. Made a real nice wrap around pass with his off hand setting up a teammate for an easy bucket. Outstanding splitting double teams. Can finish in the lane with an assortment of floaters. Solid mid range game.

Socastee’s Kyler Wethington Kyler Wethington 5'10" | SG Socastee | 2027 SC rounds out the list of top performers from the Swamp Fox Summer Showdown. Wethington is a new addition to the database after I got a second look at him this month. He was impressive in the Braves’ matchup with Lee Central, going for 18 points on 4 3PM. All of Kyler’s threes came off the catch, but he also showed an ability to drive closeouts and pull-up in the mid-range. Kyler might not have the star power that some of the others in this list have, but he is a good player and might be in for a big senior season.
