Posey didn’t come out of the gates on fire, but when he got there, he was almost unstoppable. The AMV guard did all he could to bring the Lions back and over the hump, with pull-up midranges, long threes, and-one’s at the rim. He was feeling it on his way to a big night in the Lions’ Tacoma Dome debut.

Posey showed up in some big games last season, showcasing his ability to put up big scoring games and get hot from 3-point range. He’s a kid who can get his hands in on ballhandlers and get some pokes, and attack the hoop on the other end with his acceleration out of fakes and jabs. He’ll be a key guy at Auburn Mountainview this winter.

Had a breakout season for the Lions this past winter and will have to be a huge piece for them this coming season. He’s a quick guard who can hit the three at a high clip and has shown some really good hands defensively to get deflections and strips. Averaged 4.8 APG last season and should have the ball in his hands quite a bit starting this summer.

Posey’s a very quick guard who plays with a good base and balance to make plays and get paint touches. He’s a gritty defender and was a key guy on both ends for the 22-3 Lions, averaging 15.1 points (2nd on team), 4.8 assists (1st on team), and 2.6 steals (T-3rd on team) in his junior year. He was second on the team in 3PM (46) while leading the team at 41% from 3PT, and shot 52% on 2FG. He’ll be their top returning scorer next year.
