About Kobie

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My play style is versatile and focused on scoring efficiently. I like to set up defenders with ball fakes or jabs to create space for my mid-range shot, which is one of my go-to moves. I’m confident knocking down the three when I get a good look, and I read the defense well to decide when to take it. I also use footwork and timing to set up my defender and get position down low when needed.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m a competitor who loves to win and plays with a scrappy, high-energy mindset especially on defense. I stay coachable, bring effort every time I step on the court, and always put the team first.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Off the court, I’m involved in several clubs, including the MAC Scholars program and a mentorship program where I help guide younger students. I’m committed to growing as a leader both in school and in the community.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Through basketball, school, and community involvement, I’ve developed strong leadership and teamwork skills. Being part of programs like MAC Scholars and mentorship has helped me grow as a role model, stay disciplined, and give back through community service. I’ve learned how to communicate, stay accountable, and always work toward something bigger than myself.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I’ve had my ups and downs, dealt with some tough coaches and a few injuries along the way but I’ve learned to stay positive, keep working, and not let anything throw me off. It all helped me grow and stay hungry to get better.

What type of college are you looking for?

The type of colleges I’m looking for is any college that is willing to give me the opportunity. I’m also looking for colleges that are strong in academics.
