Kingston Williams
About Kingston
Expert Analysis
Ari Rosenfeld | Prep Hoops Scout
Fresh off becoming just the fourth 1,000-point scorer in Seneca history just last week, Williams ensured his high school career would last at least one more game with a dynamic two-way performance. The southpaw guard came out in attack mode and never took his foot off the gas, scoring 17 points (12 in the first half) while applying consistent pressure on the defense. Williams was effective using his straight-line quickness to get downhill for athletic finishes. He showed smooth elevation for his midrange jumper with crisp decisionmaking within the team concept. His pair of emphatic blocks also gave a glimpse into his defensive upside with his blend of length, quickness, and broad shoulders. Williams’ handle is a bit loose and we didn’t see him shoot much from the perimeter but he brings some clear scholarship-level tools to the table as an unsigned senior in the backcourt.
