I recently wrote about Kin Vong Kin Vong 5'7" | PG Damonte | 2026 State NV in my Area Rankings series. He has the speed to burn defenders and finish in the paint. But he’s also not the type of guard you want getting a clean look from three. On the defensive end, he uses that same quickness to jump passing lanes, rack up steals, and cause disruptions. Keep an eye out for him and the Mustangs this season.

Kin Vong Kin Vong 5'7" | PG Damonte | 2026 State NV will be one of the go to guys at Damonte Ranch since they had a couple of notable seniors graduate last year. He is a threat to score on offense by getting into the lane and he drains shots from the perimeter a well. Defensively, Vong applies good ball pressure and he collects steals fairly often.

Kin Vong Kin Vong 5'7" | PG Damonte | 2026 State NV made some clever maneuvers with the rock to get to his spots and hit a couple of jump shots. Vong also converted on two of his four 3-point attempts and shot 50% from the field overall on the night. The junior guard got to work on the defensive end as well, swiping the ball away from his opponents on a few occasions.

Kin Vong Kin Vong 5'7" | PG Damonte | 2026 State NV was looking to provide some offense for Damonte Ranch on Wednesday night and he did a nice job of getting to his spots. The junior knocked down a couple of jumpers, and also connected on two of his 3-point attempts.

Kin Vong Kin Vong 5'7" | PG Damonte | 2026 State NV loves to play downhill and attack the basket. Although he may be undersized, his will to get into the lane and get easy buckets shows a ton of courage. His touch on his floater is also a nice and important thing to have. Defensively, Vong is a great perimeter defender and moves his feet laterally very quickly.

Did you know Vong led all sophomores in charges taken last year. He flies under the radar, however his success as a glue guy won’t, as he’ll be a key player if the Ranch is to make a return trip to the title game this year.

Really loved watching Vong compete during the state playoffs. One of the state’s top connectors, Vong willingly sacrifices his body for his squad. Don’t sleep on the tough hard nosed competitors other skills.

Vong is a scrappy player that pound for pound may be one of the state’s toughest. The gritty PG got himself on the rankings with some strong play duiring the state tournament, coming in as a top 75 player in his first apperace in the rankings.

Von is one of those players willing to do anything to help his team win. Several times he sacrificed his body, stepping in the way of on coming downhill drivers, taking charges for his team.
