Lerwick really showed out last weekend and was a force in the paint from start to finish. He played with confidence and control, getting to the rim whenever he wanted and finishing strong through contact. He found ways to blow by defenders and get all the way to the bucket. Once he got there, he was automatic. What stood out most was how smooth and effective he was. Every shot came from a smart read, he wasn’t forcing looks, just taking advantage of the defense and making it look easy. Inside of 10 feet he was locked in, Lerwick didn’t miss a single one, which speaks to his footwork, touch, and composure in traffic. He made tough finishes look routine and kept the pressure on the defense every time he touched the ball
