Expert Analysis
Ari Rosenfeld | Prep Hoops Scout
Shedding a walking boot just minutes before pregame warmups, Sanders put up a heroic effort as his shorthanded IMG team almost pulled off a first-round upset. He came out aggressive, showing his inside-out scoring versatility to present a consistent matchup problem for opposing defenders. With natural ball skills and mobility in a big, robust frame, Sanders has elevated himself in his post-grad year with the addition of a reliable jumper out to the arc. His motor and two-way versatility at the forward spot should be coveted at the mid-major level into the spring signing period.

Sanders had a real knack for finding ways to stay relevant in the game, it seemed like every time I looked up he was in the right spots on the floor to get a bucket or a rebound. He has a solid build which allows him to bully weaker opponents. He plays really active and competes whenever he is on the floor. He finished with 20 points and 8 rebounds versus South Kent.

Sanders scored the ball efficiently all week in and around the painted area — he also continued to succeed scoring the ball with either hand as he is able to keep defenders off balance by being a right handed player that performs well with his left.
