About Kelvin

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Im an aggressive two-way player who changes the game with tough defense, smart playmaking and consistant 3-point shooting.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I'm very disciplines, determined and quiet competitor who lets my wthic and performance speak for me. I stay focused, composed and committed to doing whatever it takes to help my team succeed.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I'm a member of National Junior and National Honor society and play in my school band where I play the trumpet. I'm a active member at my church and volunteer often in my community. These experiences have strengthened my leadership, teamwork, discipline and time management skills.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I've grown into a leader both on and off the court. Through basketball, I've developed strong leadership, teamwork communication, accountability and overcame a slight disability. I enjoy giving back by volunteering at community events throughout Pulaski County and serving my church.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One of my biggest challanges I've faced is being told i wasnt tall enough to compete on a travel circut team. Instead of letting that define me, I useedit as motivation to improve every aspect of my game. While i may be shorter than many players, I use my strength, quickness ahd high basketball IQ to my advantage. As a Point Guard, I read the floor well and create opportunities for my teammates.

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm open to both Division I and II colleges and plan to pursue an undergraduate degree in Biology. Im looking for a program where i can grow academically and athletically while contributing to a competitive team.
