About Kellen

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Natural shooting guard that can score at all levels. I see the court extremely well and honor the pass if it’s the higher probability play. Play with intensity at both ends of the court.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I want the ball in my hands when things are tough or on the line. I have a shooters mentality. Team and winning always comes first.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I play basketball for the ICT Venom team in Wchita, KS. This past year, the team made it to the championship bracket key of the MAYB National tournament.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’m a multi-sport athlete that has relocated 4 times with my family to 3 different states. I’ve learned how to integrate in to new schools and teams and each time quickly find my spot as one of, if not, the top player on the team.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking to play basketball at the D1 or D2 level for a college that will continue to challenge me as a student, an athlete, and a person, in a positive environment with high expectations.
