showcased his shooting skills against Awake Puma. Throughout the game, his high-level three-point shooting was evident as he sank multiple shots from various ranges. After defensive stops, Kayden was frequently involved in transition plays as he effectively filled the lanes and took the ball coast to coast. Since I last witnessed Kayden’s game in the Prep Hoops Circuit, his athleticism has taken a significant leap forward. On the defensive end, Kayden applies substantial pressure on ball handlers, resulting in steals and stops.

can flat-out shoot the cover off the ball. His high, smooth release and soft shooter’s touch allow him to convert from deep with remarkable consistency. When his feet are set, it’s nearly automatic, his combination of arc, balance, and rhythm make him one of the purest shooters on the floor.

showed a natural defensive knack, using his long arms to disrupt ball handlers and reach around for on-ball steals. With the ball in his hands, Williams glided in and out of moves with calculated dribbles that kept defenders guessing. His ability to change tempo and pull up unpredictably made him a tough cover in space.

, a 2030 athletic guard, is exceptionally talented due to his remarkable ability to score the ball on all three levels at an impressive rate. His speed with the ball in transition is particularly lethal, as he can easily outmaneuver defenders and blow by them in half-court situations or during pick-and-rolls. In pick-and-rolls, he has a knack for finding his teammates and setting them up with precise passes. Offensively, Kayden plays through contact without any apparent discomfort, which is a testament to his resilience. Defensively, he plays up tight on opposing ball handlers, forcing turnovers that result in steals in the stat sheet.
What’s Next for Kayden?
Kayden will be entering the eighth grade this fall! His game is advanced for his age, as evidenced by his impressive performance during my time watching him on the Prep Hoops Circuit. The game itself was impressive, and I believe he has the skills to compete at the high school level right now. Mark my words, Kayden will become a well-known prospect when all is said and done.

Kayden was probably the best shot creator in the 14U division this weekend that’s capable of making difficult shots. Even when defenses are playing him tight, he will find a way to score. When handling the ball full court, he does well with his ball security despite contact and pressure from defenders. Kayden is a good perimeter defender that puts pressure on his opponents while coming away with steals at times.

established himself as the top playmaker at the event, showcasing a high-level understanding of the game. His playmaking ability was fueled by a combination of court vision, unselfishness, and natural instincts. While not a traditional point guard, he thrived as an offensive initiator, using his quickness and basketball IQ to read and manipulate the defense. Constantly probing the floor, Williams displayed quick decision-making, executing sharp passes in tight windows. He embraced whatever the defense gave him, whether it meant threading the needle to a cutting teammate or pulling up for his own shot. When he caught fire, he scored in bunches from all three levels, knocking down shots with confidence. Defensively, Williams was a vocal leader, providing constant communication and directing his teammates. His energy and presence on both ends of the floor made him a standout performer. His ability to balance scoring and playmaking made him one of the most dynamic guards in attendance.

It’s safe to say that all day, Kayden was not playing any games and was straight killin opponents! Kayden has an advanced feel for the game that allows him to do things offensively that make him extremely difficult to defend. It will be interesting to see how he progresses because currently he is viewed as an elite player in the 2030 class. Arguably the best player in camp.

Kayden is a talented guard prospect, that completely dominated the entire 3 on 3 session. Williams destroyed defenders throughout the 3 on 3 session. Kayden made floaters, fade-aways, and 3 pointers at will. Williams used his smooth hesitation moves to ease past defenders and score in the paint. Kayden flat out took over games in 3 on 3 competition often outscoring the opposing team by himself.

Kayden is a lengthy, fearless point guard and was one of the best players I saw throughout the day. His talent was easy to notice from the start – he caught my attention during warmups and only impressed more as the games progressed. He’s got a beautiful up and under move in the paint and he’s unbelievably hard to defend for his opponent. His confidence seems endless and he’s a talented ballhandler that can finish at the rim with either hand. He can easily create his own offense if needed, but he also has the patience to slow the game down and identify the best opportunities for his teammates. He has the ability to take it the entire length of the floor himself or if he spots one of his bigs hustling down the court, he’ll reward them with a beautifully placed full-court pass for an easy bucket. Williams is going to garner a ton of attention going forward and it’s well deserved.
