About Karvin

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a natural point guard with shooting guard abilities. My strong suit is that I have a high basketball IQ which helps me be a good point guard. I can do whatever my team needs, when they need me to score I can do that. When they need me to facilitate I can do that as well. I can score on all 3 levels. I also love playing defense. I am a coaches kids so I have seen the game from that side.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have a winning mentality and unselfish mentality. I want to please my coach and want to do what I can to help my team. I have humble and laid back personality but when I get in competition I want it and will do whatever it takes to win.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

FCA A/B Honor roll student IB award

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I am a servant leader, more of a lead by example player. I am a true team player, I have a team first mentality.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I played Varsity this year and it was a challenge but I found my voice and found my spot. It was hard because some people didn’t want me on the team and some did so I just continued to work hard and let my work speak for me. So that was hard feeling like I wasn’t wanted but I was making a difference on the team and people started to realize that so it helped me grow as a player and a person.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for an opportunity to play the game that I love. I want a coach that believes and gives me a chance to display my ability. I am open to different colleges
